Custom Embroidered Hats - Simple!

Custom embroidered hats; you’ve probably been scouring the net trying to find answers, trying to translate all the confusing and complicated jargon, trying to find the right hat, trying to decided where to put your logo, and ughhh where do you even start? -- So why, oh why does almost every embroidery company make this process so unbearably and unnecessary complex!

Well, not anymore because Hatty Hats Embroidery have built an ordering system thats so simple and so fast we reckon you can order your custom embroidered hats faster than you can read this article -- well if you’re a slow reader that is ;-).

Anyway -- below I am going to show you how you can order your custom hats from Hatty Hats Embroidery in four super, super, super, super easy and simple steps. So, without further ado:

STEP 1 - Choose your hat style:

We’ve kept things simple and easy -- You’ve got 4 different hat styles to choose from, a baseball cap, a beanie, a snapback and a rollup beanie that we have rigorously tested for durability, fit, affordability and finished embroidery quality. This means that no longer do you have to crawl through hundreds of product variations to find the right one because we’ve done all the hard work for you. Now you can choose your hat style quickly and easily with total confidence at Hatty Hats Embroidery.

 

STEP 2 - Choose a pack size:

Affordable without buying bulk! -- As of now you no longer need to purchase massive quantities of product to stay within budget because Hatty Hats Embroidery has done it for you. We’ve cut out the middle man and purchased our hats directly from the manufacture in large quantities at a heavily discounted price, then passed these savings on to you.

So, you’ve got 3 different hat packs to choose from; a single hat pack at £25 per hat, a 10 hat pack at £13.50 per hat or a 30 hat pack at £9.50 per hat. There are NO hidden fees, what you see is what you pay and remember every hat comes with express production and a custom front embroidery free of charge.

 

STEP 3 - Add your designs (logo & text):

Okay, the customising bit -- adding your logo, design & text has never been easier. We’ve spent ages, and I really mean ages making our customising tool super simple and easy to use!

Once you’ve chosen your hat style and pack size you’ll be navigated to its product page where you can then add your customisations with ease, with our online editing tool.

Included with every hat is a free front design or text embroidery, however for an additional cost you can also add extra text embroideries to your hats. Extra embroideries can be applied to all or any of the following; the left side, the right side and the rear of your hats. STEP 4 - Complete your order:

We’re almost done, I promise!

Okay, so you’ve chosen your hat style and applied you embroideries -- below the editor you then need to decide the colour you would like your hats and how many hat packs you need. All embroideries you’ve added in the customiser will be applied to each additional hat pack ordered. Front embroideries of cause will continue to be free and any extra embroideries will be charged accordingly per hat pack.

Once all this is selected you then need to click ‘add to cart’ and navigate to ‘checkout’. Once in checkout you can then choose your shipping method -- you’ve got three shipping options to choose from; free standard UK shipping (a 2 - 3 working day service), express UK shipping (a next working day service) and a range of international shipping options, please click here to find out more.

The shipping method you choose relates only to the amount of time it takes for your order to get to you ONCE dispatched from our UK factory, and has nothing to do with the production time of your order.

Which moves me on to my final point, every custom order no matter how big, or small with Hatty Hats Embroidery qualifies for express production. This means the moment you completed your order we’re on it! Orders are usually completed and dispatched within 24 hours, however sometimes it can take a little longer for us to get things right, so we ask for between 1 - 3 working days to complete and dispatch custom orders. Once your order has been dispatched you’ll receive a dispatch notification by email.

The Shark Patch:

The Shark iron on patch is based on a flat style drawing of a great white shark. The shark patch is sized approximately 5.3cm high x 5cm wide, is fully embroidered, features an easy to use iron-on backing and is designed, manufactured and shipped by Hatty Hats Embroidery in the United Kingdom.

The colours used:

There are a total of 3 colours used to make the Shark iron on patch, these colours consist of; grey, black & blue. The colour most used in this patch is the grey for the body of the shark, the black is then used for the outlines and detailing while the blue is used for eye on the shark patch.

The stitch count:

(Total number of times the embroidery needle moves up & down.)

The Shark iron on patch has a total of 3864 stitches, uses 50 foot of thread and takes our embroidery machines roughly around 7 minutes to produce. Check out the video below to see this patch being made, see if you can count the stitches ;-).

The cool facts:

• Like dogs, baby sharks are called pups! 🦈👶
• Sharks can smell a single drop of blood in 1 million drops of water - WHAT!!! 😮
• No rest; sharks must keep swimming, if they stop they, they drown.

To keep this design tidy all the colours are blocked together and laid from the lowest to the highest. 

1. Our embroidery machine starts with the grey thread and lays the main body of the shark design.

2. The machine then switches to the blue thread and lays the eye.

3. Finally the black thread is selected and all the outlines and details of the shark iron on patch are laid.

The What Goes… Patch:

“What Goes Around Comes Around…” Defined by the Urban Dictionary as “A phrase meaning you get what you give.” and this patch represents just that. With the text caption coming right round on itself; what goes around literally comes around with this one. The patch is sized approximately 7.7cm round, is fully embroidered, features an easy to use iron on backing and is designed, manufactured and shipped by Hatty Hats Embroidery in the United Kingdom.

The colours used:

A combination of 2 colours are used to make the What Goes... iron on patch; a black and a white. The black is used for the background of the patch and the white is used for the text caption and border of the patch.

The stitch count:

(Total number of times the embroidery needle moves up & down.)

The What Goes... iron on patch has a total of 12414 stitches, uses 180 foot of thread and takes our embroidery machines roughly around 20 minutes to produce. Check out the video below to see this patch being made, see if you can count the stitches ;-).

To keep this design tidy all the colours are blocked together and laid from the lowest to the highest. 

1. Our embroidery machine starts off with the black thread and lays the bulk of the patch, the background.

2. The machine then switches to the white thread and lays the outer border.

3. Finally; staying with the white thread our machine embroiders the text caption onto the patch.

The Light Bulb Design:

Feel like this 😐 when trying to have the light bulb moment……? Then this ones for you; 💡🤔💡 the Light Bulb cap has been scientifically engineered by Hatty Hats Embroidery to improve your changes of a light bulb moment by 100% 🙌👏 - This embroidery is sized approximately 4cm high x 4cm wide and is designed, manufactured and shipped by Hatty Hats Embroidery in the United Kingdom.

The Colours Used:

There are a total of 3 colours used to apply the Light Bulb design to the navy baseball cap, these colours are; yellow, grey and white. The colour most in this design is the yellow for the main shape of the bulb and the light ‘rays’ coming off it. The grey is then used for the lower metal part of the bulb while the white is used for the centre coil in the light.

The Stitch Count:

The Navy Baseball Cap:

Made from a strong 100% cotton twill, heavy weight fabric this cap has been built with quality in mind. The navy baseball cap has a one size fits all, 6 panelled design and features a robust pre-curved peak, stitched ventilation eyelets and a fully adjustable buckled size strap at the rear.

The Making Video:

To keep this design tidy all the colours are blocked together and laid from the lowest to the highest.

1. Our embroidery machine first selects the yellow thread and lays the main shape of the light bulb and the ‘rays’ coming from it.

2. Next the machine switches to the white thread and embroiders the ‘coil’ in the centre of the design.

3. Finally the grey thread is chosen and the lower ‘metal’ part of the light bulb design is stitched into the navy baseball cap.

The Rubber Duck Design:

The Rubber Duck embroidered design on the navy baseball cap is based on a flat, side style drawing of a classic bright yellow Rubber Duck; “Quack🐤 Quack🐤”. This embroidery is sized approximately 5cm high x 5cm wide and is designed, manufactured and shipped by Hatty Hats Embroidery in the United Kingdom.

The Colours Used:

There are a total of 4 colours used to apply this Rubber Duck design to the navy baseball cap, these colours are; yellow, orange, white and black. The colour thats most used in this design is the yellow for the main body of the duck. The orange is then used for the beak while the white is used the centre of the eye. The black colour then adds all the finer details and outlines to the Rubber Duck embroidered design.

The Stitch Count:

2. Next the machine switches to the orange thread and stitches the ducks beak.

3. The white thread is then chosen and the eye is laid.

4. Finally our machine switches to the black colour and embroiders all the finishing details; the outer boarder of the design, the edging round the eye and the wings on the side.
